Our client in Clapham, London had recently moved into their new home and inherited a well-built, hand-painted kitchen.
While the cabinetry itself was in good condition, the existing brush-painted finish on the shaker style doors was uneven and lacked the clean, refined look they were after.
The aim was to create a more bespoke, high-end finish using kitchen spray painting, along with updating the handles and overall appearance.

Preparation was key in this project due to the existing hand-painted finish.
All doors and panels were carefully cleaned, sanded back and assessed to remove brush marks and inconsistencies. Minor defects were addressed to create a smooth, uniform base ready for spraying.
This stage is essential when correcting previous coatings and ensures the final finish is consistent and long-lasting.
Once prepared, doors and drawers were professionally spray finished to achieve a smooth, even coating across all surfaces.
On-site elements were carefully masked and refinished to match, ensuring consistency throughout the kitchen.
We select professional coating systems based on the surface and environment — including high-performance polyurethane coatings where durability is key.

The kitchen was professionally spray painted in Dulux Heritage – Black Raven’s Flight, creating a smooth, durable, factory-quality finish throughout.
New gold handles and butt hinges were fitted, and all doors were carefully realigned to complete the transformation.
The result is a clean, contemporary kitchen with a consistent finish — demonstrating how kitchen respraying can completely transform a space without the need for replacement.
